Can't get enough...

We can never get enough of the QUADS! Isaac likes to drive, but watch OUT! Might land yourself in this pond!
Did you say QUADS??? I wanna turn! Gimme the wheel, gimme, gimme, purty please!
This is the life!
Time to wind down after a long, hard day!!!

LOG Haven! (Labor Day)

We made good use of this LOG! These photos were taken just a stones throw from our family cabin in the deep Heber mountains. It is one of the most peaceful, serene spots on this earth. Grateful to enjoy the fresh mountain air with my wonderful family whom I adore! My kids with their cute cousins, Katie and Scotty.
Can't believe how grown up she is looking. She is only 14 months here. At least she's still got her baby fat!!!
Ohhh...this picture just makes my heart sing! My kids are true miracles in my life!

Flower Child!

What's more precious than a baby girl in a patch of wild flowers? She was drawn to the flowers as if they were calling her name.

Ecstacy!

Had to share! Found something almost better than sex (do I dare say?)...yes...Ecstacy. A fabulous sushi dish @ Blue Fish @ the District. Anyone in for an experience that will rock your world, I mean tastebuds???

ON BROADWAY!!!

A highlight for me this summer was going to the Broadway Musical, Lion King. Can I just say, WOW! Goes down as one of my all-time favs! It tickled ALL the senses. The costumes and scenery were out of this world amazing, the animals mechanically moved in mind-boggling ways, the music ~ sensational (including the bongo drums on the side) and the storyline, of course, charming and heartwarming! I could see this one 10x and never get bored. I'm so grateful for opportunities to enjoy the arts! How lucky that this cast would come to Utah. Thank you to my hubby for spoiling me with the things I love!!!

First Ever Day of School!!!

Isaac and Hudson enjoyed their first day of school on August 18th! They learned part of the Pledge of Allegiance and met lots of new, fun friends (mostly girlfriends, too bad they can't fully appreciate that now). Later this year, they will learn to play the violin. We feel very lucky to be a part of Miss Melissa's preschool.
Miss Melissa, our amazing teacher. She is going to make us very smart! We adore her already!
Modeling their backpacks that their teacher made! We wear these each school day. Miss Melissa sends home a little bit of homework occassionally...yes, I said homework! It's started ALREADY! But we love it!

Thank heaven for FRIENDS!

Ain't this what it's all about???
Our cute neighbor friend. Maybe they'll appreciate this photo one day:)
Checking out the Life Flight Helicoptor @ Gateway Discovery Museum with Jake and Mom. Cool stuff.
Play date at Hudson's house...
K, these kids did this all on their own!!! I was sitting in my office one day when suddenly these little "gringos" walk in!!! They obviously found my party bag downstairs and got creative! Needless to say, we did the hula and took a few pictures. (Isaac and Emery)
\This gal ADORES her big brother!
BFF's!

A Summer Sky

Couldn't help but wonder if heaven was descending upon us! I could almost see angels in those clouds. A witness that God is in the details of our lives!!! He hasn't forgotten us, thankgoodness!

Little Rocker (August)

What do ya think? Future Kid Rock?

Who taught him this anyway?
And this?@#! Where do kids pick these things up anyway?

Grandma Moore (July 23rd)

We have to snap as many pictures of sweet Grandma Moore as we can. She is 81 and not feeling so great these days.
We hope Isaac will always remember his great Grandma. Having pictures help to cement a memory.

Days of 47 Rodeo

You'd think it were their first rodeo...AND IT WAS!!! (Isaac with cousin, Emery) We think Emmy is extra pretty in her cowgirl hat!
This gal definitely has some cowgirl in her! Watch out barrel racers...she'll be comin' around the mountain!
What are they doing to those cute little animals? Calf ropin' is mean!
Isaac with his two most favorite girl cousins!
Blue suckers and rodeos go together swell (nice lips).

Science Projects

Isaac got us started with some unique science projects this month...go easy son, we barely registered you for preschool! Anyway, unbeknownst to his mom and dad, he started "chucking" balls up into the big entry way chandelier. What fun! When one of the lamps started smoking, dad almost called the fire department in a panic. After a quick inspection, we discovered the problem and concluded that rubber baseballs and plastic golf balls don't smell OR look so great in their melted down state! Grandpa Ward could most likely figure out a chemical equation for that one!
Shortly after, Mom contracted the science bug and tried her hand at jell-O molds. Since the Great Green Jell-O Festival was fast approaching, she put her experiment to the test. These dudes have been hanging out in our refrigerator for some time now. They jiggle well and finally opened their eyes last Saturday night to say hello to 500 people or so.
This one best resembles our Stake President, President Douglas. We adore him! (Yes...it's real jell-O!!!)
Although this guy was born with a large birthmark on his neck and has some scarring from acne (maybe?), we thought he was best suited for President Osborne, our avid U of U fan and 2nd Counselor in the Stake Presidency.
And finally, our die-hard BYU guy best resembles President Bagley...a little pale and chubby, but that's just because of all the boring BYU games he's had to sit through in his lifetime...can one blame him???
All together now! They've never looked so good!!! Our Draper River View Stake Presidency.

Close Ups!

...And this is why I love CLOSE UP pictures. They capture the essence of pure innocence in these children! Can't you see heaven in those eyes!!!
This gal...getting spunkier by the minute, but so much fun!
Check out all that spunk!

SOOOO Big!!! Almost walking (can't believe my eyes).
She knew exactly what to do with this cake...
Go for it...you're ONE!

That's my girl!!!
